Michael Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award at 2010 Grammys

Michael Jackson is being honored posthumously with the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards being televised on CBS this Sunday, January 31, 2010. The show will feature a 3-D mini-movie of Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song”.

Michael felt strongly about delivering a personal message about the need to safeguard the environment in an innovative and stimulating way. Although the song was not a big hit, it did reach number one in Europe. He was planning to spread his message far and wide by performing it on his “This is It” tour.

The tribute will feature Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, Usher, and the voice of Michael Jackson
